This hose is extremely high quality and very light so that she's able to drag it to every corner of her yard to water everything very easily. Since she also has a veggie garden that she waters with this and likes to have a drink from the hose once in awhile too, it's nice to know that there are no heavy metals or toxic materials in this hose. They're expensive but are worth every penny. VERY high quality, well made hoses. Review: Works well without the "plastic" smell - I got the 100' olive green with stainless steel ends. (I wish the purple had been in stock). It works well, and the ends are a good quality. but the smaller diameter opening means it takes longer to water the garden or add water to the swimming pool.
