I have recently done two drain-and-refills using the Valvoline Synthetic CVT fluid on my 2013 Altima 3.5S and have seen marked improvements in smoothness and vehicle response to throttle input. Vehicle is also smoother at idle (this relating directly to the torque converter's performance). So, I still haven't found an E-PSF fluid that meets Nissan's E-PSF spec, but there are now several options for the NS-3 transmission fluid. All ostensibly offering better performance than the breathtakingly thin factory NS-3 fluid. Not hard to believe, as my factory fluid was burnt-up and dark at only 28k miles.
