**Q: I normally take a women's size 8 shoe which translates to a 9.5 inch foot according to the size chart here i would wear smaller than an 8. Is that rig**
A: I would recommend buying the size you would wear in sandals. I wear a 10 in New Balance and Nikes running shoe, I ordered a 9 in the water shoe and it fit perfectly.

**Q: Grip? Sole? Anyone worn for real hiking? I'm looking for something quick-drying for primitive stream crossings w/ whitewater, sharp rocks, slippery.**
A: I would not recommend for hiking. The grip is ok but the sole is thin and you can feel every rock you step on. Also, if the ground is hot you will begin to feel the heat after a short amount of time walking on it. They are not very quick drying either. I get them wet at work and they don’t dry out till that evening when I take them off.  I currently use mine working on a small boat dock launching peddle bots and our beach launching kayaks/canoes.

**Q: Are these good for weightlifting?**
A: I would not think so. However, do not take that as a final point.

**Q: Should I worry about blisters in these? Getting them for swimming then hiking**
A: I wouldn’t recommend for hiking. Swimming is fine. The bottoms are not very tough so you can feel everything including heat if standing on a hard service for an extended period of time. I’ve worn them for a full 6 hours on a boat dock and did not get blisters but again I could fee the heat on the dock.
