I taught my son how to ride on it. The only issue is that I thought it was a little bit bigger than it really was. Make sure to fit your child at a professional Bike Shop first to know the size bike. They need to be on this one just happens to be a little too small for him. other than that it was easy to assemble. The seat was very easy to adjust.
