Review: Is it even possible to give EHX less than 5 stars? - What’s not to love about the STEREO Electric Mistress?!?! It’s perfect. If you need the best sounding chorus you’ll ever find, you’re set. If you need some flange-y action that’s also the best, boom. Wanna get some crazy awesome tones that’ll make heads turn? Plug it into two amps and play with combinations of both the Chorus and Flanger, at different rates. I am a Chorus pedal must-haver, because I never play without it, and there’s really only been one other source that I’d feel comfortable comparing the quality of this to, and it was an onboard effect in an amplifier that I regret parting ways with. I never was able to find that sound in a pedal. Fast forward about a decade 😂 and I started getting into EHX, and when I watched the video for this thing…..well, honestly it wasn’t really geared toward my sound, which is a subtle but present chorus (fairly deep+low rate), but I was blown away by what it could do and I could not be happier with it, or any of their other pedals!!!! I’m going to throw down on the POG 2 next! Just waiting for it to reach that spot on the “equipment priorities” list. 😉 - Conclusion: if you’re considering this, and aren’t sure, just buy it. There is zero chance you won’t be 100% thrilled by it. That is, unless you don’t know how to turn knobs or plug things in. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #truth
Review: Good - Cool pedal but not for me. I don’t use flange much except to do silly things. And I have a Moore e lady I think it is that has a police siren deal so I’m sold w that for the $$ lmao. The chorus is cool and getting it in the perfect phase thing is also nice. EHX always makes great sounding pedals that feel like they cld fall apart any second lol. But I’ve never had any issues. I think the chorus is really nice and analog

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Electric Mistress .. Analog effect bliss
*by P***L on December 16, 2011*

The Electro-Harmonix "Electric Mistress" is a fine, complex analog guitar signal processor built in the retro style. Its well-built, easy to use and understand, and creates sounds that are unlike any other guitar sounds you can imagine. Of course, you can use it to sound like a typical phaser or chorus, but the real beauty of it is that it has a huge array of sounds. I'm not a big signal processor fan .. I'm more about being a great player, but effects can inspire you. I find this one just such a box, though I use it sparingly. I like the Andy Summers sounds you can make with it, either on my acoustic electrics or on my solid bodies. It's cool and realatively inexpensive. My only knock is that I think it should have a battery powered option since the power supply adds another complexity of having to care for it when gig time arrives. I guess it eats batteries if you leave it on all the time so they just give you a power supply. Very creative!
