I have used it for years. Sautee some shallots with it. Be aware, however, that the product listing here is for TWENTY-FOUR packets of Knorr Bearnaise sauce. I placed an order and I received a SINGLE packet. I contacted Amazon via the "Return" option and accepted the "Replacement" option. (A return of the single packet was not required.) A few days later, I received a SINGLE packet. D'oh! After contacting Amazon, I received an expeditious refund. Since another reviewer has indicated this same problem, I would be reluctant to order the 24-pack from Amazon. Upshot is that I got two free packets of wonderful Knorr Bearnaise sauce.
