I like the fact that it doesn't come with hooks as stock hooks and split rings always fail. I installed mine with Owner 4102 Single Inline Hook 5/0 with flat split rings rated at 150 pounds. The action does not disappoint at all. It will take the damage from sharp teeth from predatory fish easily. I bought over 4 of these already and haven't lost a single fish so far.
