I use it above kitchen cabinets for ambience and it's quite pleasant on the smooth setting, which gently alternates through a spectrum of pastel colours. One little niggle though, not every power bank will work with this properly. A USB wall socket at the right output voltage and wattage would work better (I use my e-cig charger) or you could fork out for the bank that comes with a variation of the same product. ### ⭐⭐ Poor version of the luminoodle *by S***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 16 May 2017* As a led light strip it comes nicely packaged and at a good price point (about half the cost of the luminoodle when I ordered)I have 2 luminoodles and this is a direct rip off, but while the packaging is nice the corners that have been cut are clear. The remote is infra red and doesn't work very well, and there is no option to control on the main unit.
