If you have already bought this burr send it back to Amazon and replace it with an 1/8" shaft. Kutzall make the flame in extra coarse 1/8" but be extra careful. This thing will rip through your fingers very quickly. Make sure you have no clothing to get caught up or around your carving area. It will grab the material and snap your shaft. Don't drop it in your lap because you will find it quite painful.
