I did take a razor blade to straighten off the corners so it was flush with my window. It does the job of preventing anyone from seeing into my downstairs bathroom window, while still letting light in so I can leave the window blind open. However, it's not all that easy to apply since it's not self-stick -- it's just plain vinyl. You have to use double-sided tape, or smear the whole window with dishwashing liquid to stick the vinyl to it. Also I found the exact same product at a better price at Joann Fabrics.
