If fact, I'm enjoying my morning coffee while I write this review!I decided to purchase this because I enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning and prefer using a French press. In the past, I've used an electric kettle which would take about five minutes to boil and was extremely loud while it brought the water to a boil. Now, instead of boiling the water first, I simply add the ground coffee to the French press and place it under the spout. Then I unlock the hot water dispenser, set the amount to "0" and press the "Start/Stop" button. The "0" setting means it runs until you press the "Start/Stop" button again. As soon as it begins filling, I set a timer for 5 minutes. While it's filling, I use a spoon to give it a little stir and then wait for it to fill, which only takes about two minutes. Once my 5 minute timer goes off, I push down the filter and pour a delicious, steaming hot cup of coffee.This is easy to setup, easy to use, easy on the eyes and should be an easy choice if you're looking for a quick and convenient hot water dispenser. ### ⭐ Stopped working. Didn't work well when it did work. *by K***T on October 9, 2020* This unit stopped producing hot water after three months. First time it broke it miraculously started working again. Then permanently stopped working after six months and is going in the trash. Product has a terrible warranty (30 day replacement, then after that you have to pay to ship the unit to them for repair; then pay to have it shipped back. So the shipping cost would be more than just buying a new unit. Horrible.) So basically we bought a product that lasted six months then went in the trash.But let's pretend the unit was a quality product and stilled worked. Even then it doesn't work well (poorly designed). The problem is that the unit puts out five seconds of room temperature water before streaming hot water. So the water is never very hot in your cup as the first five seconds of water is not warm (nor hot). So if you want hot water, you first have to run the thing for five seconds, then hurry to pour that cold water out of your cup before the unit locks up (it locks super fast for safety reasons I guess), then restart the water which will be hot enough to produce a cup of tea.So 1) unit does not work well, 2) unit stops working after a few months and 3) vendor will not replace the unit with a working unit. Recommend everyone steers clear of this product if they want something that can make hot water instantly. The seller was unresponsive and I was unable to get any warranty service. Downgrading from 5 stars to 2.Original review:The amount and temperature of the water dispensed are accurate. The unit is easy to set up. The buttons and display are intuitive.
