If you are looking to make your own celebration cake, look no further than the favourite boiled fruit cake recipe. Best wedding cake ever, was just one of the comments I have had for this cake. Although, I have to admit, I cheated a little bit and used sultanas where it says currants! I like the let's-not-waste-words words policy... it is so easy to get it wrong when the important what-to-do-next step is hidden amongst a page of trivia. The minimal instructions are easy to follow and each recipe is well illustrated. Each recipe also has information on how long the product can be stored. Recipes are obviously well tested because - they all work and more to the point, they all taste great! Review: Packed with Good Stuff - This is not like a standard cookbook, where there's so much white space to fill up volume - it's full of recipes, but neatly arranged. We tried making one of the chocolate cakes, and the results were spectacular. The only thing to watch for is the units. These books were advertised as good condition I would have said excellent they looked new when they arrived great to have a copy looking in such great condition.
