Review: Great replacement - My original hot tub heater started leaking. I order this one as it was substantially cheaper than from the spa dealer. It came in a few days. It was easy to install. It took two people to install it but that was doing it with the hot tub full of water. It would only require 1 person if the tub was empty. It only took about 45 minutes to install. It’s been running for a couple months none stop and keeps the temperature right were it should be. Review: Easy Replacement for OEM - Happy with how easy this was to install. Replaced my OEM heater in around 15 minutes and it was heating the tub. I have two minor complaints. First is that the over heat sensor isn't attached, it needs to be attached with silicone into the top or bottom depending on your configuration. Second is probably hot tub specific, but when my tub was heating in ice / cold mode, the heating light indicator was not on the heater as the hot tub was not directly calling for heat. Once it got out of this mode, the heating indicator was on as was the light on the heater.
