The comfomforter is just the the softness of a feather down I had a tog 3 on bed and got this and it was a bit cooler but not too the extent that you felt cold. I brought the white box design as I wanted to use it like a normal duvet the size fits the IKEA king size cover perfectly as they are about 9 iniches bigger than normal standard king size cover.
