While it used to be just part of my foot was effected then it spread to my entire foot & ankle. I cannot use ice or cold packs as it makes it worse. I’ve tried several different heat packs, I can’t even describe some of the ways my leg has been wrapped with multiple packs. I had one that was good, but it only gave heat to the back of my ankle OR my foot, others just to sides of my foot, so I had to add more heat packs. This is the 1st that actually covers my entire foot & ankle. However I hate that it needs to be microwaved & loses heat because I need the heat much longer. It’s easy to heat & doesn’t take long, it just hurts to have to walk to heat it every so often. For now this is the best I’ve found, it works well, covers & heats the entire foot & ankle area.I don’t use cold/ice packs option. Yet the cold would’ve been great for my son this summer when he recovered from a car accident. More convenient than the several packs I put on his foot & ankle, that fell off if he moved an inch, till I taped them. I do recommend this if you need heat or cold for the entire foot/ankle & don’t want to deal with multiple ice or heat packs that move & leak.While I still want to find a good heat pack that covers the entire area and either self heats or plugs in to power bank, for now this is the best I’ve found that works.Also excellent customer service the 1st pack I ordered had a tiny tear at the seam, and the exchanged it immediately with the replacement arrived the next day. No problems with it & I use it multiple times a day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as expected *by J***. on September 22, 2024* The boot is cumbersome to put on, but it's worth the struggle. It stays cold for a long while, and can be reversed for continued cold application. Do wear a thin sock to protect your skin, even though it has a plush surface. It seems to be well made, so I hope it lasts a long time. I have not tried to heat it, so can't comment on that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's Great! *by M***V on August 25, 2020* I really like this product. I have only used it for icing. I need the ice for my ankle, but also the ball of my foot and arch. I was hoping the foot area was a little longer so that the ball of my foot would get ice, too. It sort of gets it, I just wish it was about an inch longer in the foot area. I wear a women's size 8 and it just barely gets close to the end of my foot.Again, I really like this product and it is great for ankle and arch icing, but the buckle to put the strap around the top of your foot is kind of hard to get buckled. The buckle you have to put the strap through is way down the side, right where you kind of step on it and the strap is a little short. I was able to finally get it buckled, but it wasn't as easy and I thought it would be.Once I got the wrap on, it work great. I just had a long wool sock under it so my skin didn't get burned.
