**Q: how many lumens?**
A: Who cares how many lumens, really?  These are bright enough for any work around the house or car.  You can spend $40+ dollars for an all aluminum one from Braun like I did and it will throw more light from it's more powerful and longer light bar.  But you don't always need that.  I keep one handy in the house and one in my car.  I've timed the charge and after 1 1/2 hours it's still going strong on the brightest setting.  Can't beat it for eight bucks.

**Q: I live in texas. can these be store in a car trunk without damaging the internal battery?**
A: A flashlight would be a smart thing to have during a Texas winter, these days!

**Q: is the bottom base screw cap to swap batteries, what kind of batteries does it take**
A: These are rechargable lithium Ion batteries... You should not solder to them if you decide to replace after it loses capacity (A Spot Welder Would be the appropriate Method due to high temp issues with soldering)... which based on most lithium 18650 batteries.... will be a very long time before losing capacity... probably 1000 or more discarge/ recharge cycles... and then you will typically still have 70% of capacity... reducing the 2-2.5 hours down to 1.4 to 1.75 hours... Just wrote this to address the person talking about soldering a new battery... you need to look into how lithium batterys work, and the limitations of high heat...

**Q: how do you know when it is fully charged?**
A: For this particular light it is red while charging and turns green when charged as the first responder stated.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good light, cheap switch

Overall, it's a very good light, with one flaw. It is adequately bright for most work, it's lightweight, and the magnet is very convenient when you have enough steel on which to stick it. (Example: a paint can lid is too thin, so the magnet doesn't hold the weight of the light, but even on the curved surface of a steel engine block the magnet will hold.) Flaw: Because it only has one button, and it only cycles between off and the three different light options, turning it on then off requires twice as many uses of the button. Only slightly annoying, however it highlights a flaw. Because very cheap switches were used, and because the button endures double the use, that button is where the device goes bad first. I had one that I used a lot (like I said, it's a good light) until it wouldn't turn off. I'm forced to shop for a better quality light to replace it.
