Also, there is enough sound differentiation that it entertained my baby without being overstimulating (no strobe effects). This toy is fantastic for my very hands on and curious 8 month old. The size is manageable for him to pick up and flip around, and it’s lightweight enough for him. He loves banging on it - the sensories pick up their soft touch and light up red, green and blue. Music continues to play after he hits it which attracts him to want to keep playing with it. It’s especially fun to play with in the evening, as the lights dim in the house. The colors on the bongo really come alive. Will definitely be buying this as a gift for other babies.
