Thank you for making it easy to speak with her. My mother naturally has a soft voice, and I constantly had to ask her to speak up on a regular phone. She said that it was unbelievably easy to set up on her own. She loves the big, easy-to-press buttons and the bright backlight. It was very helpful for her to make phone calls right after her cataract surgery. After her hand surgery, she was thankful to have a phone that is thick enough to grasp without much effort. The only critique she has is she wants to be able to see who is calling and be able to block the unwanted calls with a touch of a button.

A: Hello Mrs. Wright,Thank you for your inquiry... To answer your questions, it does not have caller ID and the ringer volume can be switched to On or Off. However, the receiver has a Light Alert that Flashes when phone rings.I hope this answers your questions, if not please let me know...

**Q: how wide is the phone?  I need a base at least 3 1/2 inches to cover the wall plate in our kitchen**
A: The base is about 2 1/2 inches.  I believe you might need a wall hanging phone with answer machine type base to cover the wall plate, not a trimline phone!  Hope this helps!

**Q: Does this phone not mount to a wall?**
A: It will mount on a standard wall phone wall mount. The wall mount is not provided. But can be purchased separately.

**Q: Is this phone made in USA? If not, where?**
A: I will first tell you, I purchased two phones and both were returned, they broke within a week, so there fore I would say it was made in guam!! I wouldn't purchase it if I were fyou!!  Gppd Luck

The phone quality of this phone is awesome! I can hear her loud and clear! Thank you for making it easy to speak with her. My mother naturally has a soft voice, and I constantly had to ask her to speak up on a regular phone. She said that it was unbelievably easy to set up on her own. It’s a bit annoying trying to plug the jack cable into the phone, but otherwise it works great.
