Review: Love these candles!!! - Love these candles! Yes, a little expensive, however, they are sturdy on their own and once you put the batteries in - they stay firmly on the windowsill. I have had mine since 2020; I purchased 3 boxes (I needed 12 candles and wanted an extra set to have on hand. The one-time investment was more than my plug-in candles; however, I would never go back - I love the convenience and look of these candles!! One problem, my fault, not theirs... I accidentally left the batteries in at the end of the season last year and 4 of my candles were ruined. I was hoping to purchase the candle alone because the bulbs are fine and the base is fine, I just need the candlestick. Otherwise, they are great! Quality, Timer, Weight, Look and no fuss, install batteries, set timer (just tighten bulbs) and place in window - forget about them until it's time to take down your decorations!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE

A: No, our 1524 model only has a steady light, but you can search for our VT-9167 series which offers both steady and flicker options.

**Q: How do I get the timers to line up?**
A: We recommend that you line up all your candles on a table then insert the batteries. Finally, screw the bulbs down on the candles. This will allow all the candles to go on approximately at the same time.

**Q: Can the automatic timer be adjusted to a different timer cycle than 6 hours on/18 hours off?**
A: No, our 1524 model only has a 6 hour timer, but our VT-9167 series offers a remote control and corresponding bulbs that can be programmed to 6, 8 or 12 hours on per 24 hour period.

Love these candles! Yes, a little expensive, however, they are sturdy on their own and once you put the batteries in - they stay firmly on the windowsill. I ordered these for both of my daughters and finally broke down and bought them for myself. I needed 36 of them, but decided I could live without some of them due to the price. They work beautifully and I hope will last for many years. I bought the Amazon basic batteries as they were a good price and so far are working well. UPDATE: the battery life is not 30 days. At best it was 14 - 18 days - they started to fade at various points. I don’t know if it was the batteries and may try a brand name next year. I still love the look and lack of cords.
