Review: Dawn dish washing sponges! - I was so happy when they came out with this dish sponge because it doesn't fill at the end of the wand like others and therefore it doesn't leak! It's a great design but now I can't find the refill sponges to go with it!! I used to buy them here on desertcart but now all the offer is the cheap versions!! I did find one on here today but you have to buy the wand and sponge together and they want 15.99 for ONE!! 😳 YIKES!!!! I can't even find these in the stores anymore either!! I used to be able to buy 10 of these at a time Now I guess I'll have to go back to the cheaper version one or just go back and wash the dishes the old fashioned way by hand!! It is easy to fill with dish soap and a push of a button allows a bit of dish soap out to wash a dish or two. The sponge seems to do a good job of cleaning as well. It does not leak dish soap when you do not want it to. Very handy device.

**Q: I've spent way too much time trying to figure out how to get liquid soap into the Dawn Platinum dishwand. Can someone help me?**
A: I've also spent entirely too much time on this, but now that I've figured it out, I really like this dishwand. Vineyard girl is right. To expand on her answer, hold it with the sponge and down and lift the blue tab and just drizzle it in. Note, this only allows you to fill it up to that point, but I don't even think the handle is hollow. This may seem putsey compared to other dishwands with the screwtop handles that let you inject your dish soap at high velocity in a matter of seconds. However, it does fill quite easily compared to all the other ways I've tried! ;-)Let me state again, I really do like the dishwand.

**Q: Where can i buy the wand refills to fit? The ones i ordered are to small.**
A: There are two different sizes.  Make sure you look at both wands and choose the refill that fits the larger one.

**Q: Does this go with the Dawn platinum fillable dishwand refills?**
A: Yes, this can be used with the Dawn platinum fillable refills as long as they do not say mini. Hope this helps!

**Q: Will this product scratch glass shower doors?**
A: I have never noticed any scratches on anything I have used this on. I also use it on my teflon pans and it has not harmed them at all1

I was so happy when they came out with this dish sponge because it doesn't fill at the end of the wand like others and therefore it doesn't leak! So happy we ordered this soap dispensing dish wand. I love being able to quickly wash a pan or a couple of dishes. It is easy to fill with dish soap and a push of a button allows a bit of dish soap out to wash a dish or two. The sponge seems to do a good job of cleaning as well. It does not leak dish soap when you do not want it to. Very handy device.

### ⭐ Sucks for us southpaws

I really loved the old school version of this product, which also has leak issues, but i never filled it so i never had that specific complaint. This one feels good in hand, as far as heft/build quality but it’s geared for “righties” (one side of the sponge base is straight while the d-shaped side ((what should be the “business end”)) faces thumbward on my left hand) so that’s a little bit of a bummer. Also it’s atrocious to fill; i tried initially but the soap trickles into it like sand at the waist of an hourglass Update: Shortly after writing this review, mine two snapped in half at the weak point where the handle joins together. Unfortunately i bought like, 40 refill sponges when i bought the wand. So i bought two more wands even though i hate it. Boo.
