Your knuckles will be safe from smacking the side of your tins or mixing glasses. The biggest feature for me is the flat muddling end. For me, having a flat end on my muddler is critical so as to not tear and pulverize mint and other more delicate ingredients. I never use muddlers with teeth or other raised parts on the end. This thing might even work well for cracking or even crushing ice. I think this will be the last muddler I have to buy.

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: I don't know.  I had to send it back.  I didn't like it.  It was too long.  I ended up buying one at Total Wine that works really well.

**Q: Is this made in China?**
A: Yes, this muddler is made in China.

**Q: Can you break ice with this?**
A: Yes....and no. You probably could but it really wouldn't do a good job. It's geared for crushing sugar cubes for old fashioned or masking fruit for cocktails. Made of a somewhat hard plastic...I dont believe it's got the hardness or weight for the job. It is round as well not lending itself to be a good ice crusher. Be well, take care.
