We’ll, not so great; but better than nothing. The sharp blade makes a world of difference, but it is true about the gap between the blade and the screen. Pulp guts in there and develops a heavy spot causing a major off balance. I have to stop the machine and clear it out and then continue juicing. Fortunately, my husband is a machine operator and is going to try to trim the plastic bottom of the blade so that it fits tighter to the screen. He already trimmed out the countersunk holes so the hold down screws would sit flush with the blade. All and all, would not buy replacement screen or blade. Get a new juicer!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars eh! *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2017* I have an MT-1000 date code 0708 Jack Lalanne power juicer, and although this fits the spacing is less on this blade within the inner interface of the connection for the blade to the juicer. Therefore deeming it of less integrity than the OEM blade for this model. I get a lot of full leafy veggies like spinach and watercress in the outgoing bin for the pulp...pulp is whole veggies not pulp...I'll put the veggies in a few times to see, or I'll try a piece of paper to space the blade closer to the chute going in. You would probably be better off buying the blade and mounting it on the old mount ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Sharp blade *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2012* This new blade made a big difference in the performance of my juicer. The only thing I noticed is that you have to be careful not to try to tighten it too much as it will actually come loose again. Just need to tighten it until you feel it is secure and it will stay tight. Depending on how much you use your juicer, I would recommend replacing the blade once a year or so.
