The lid was cracked in half on one of them, and the jar was cracked on the other one. Love this product though, so got creative and swapped the cracked lid for the intact one on the intact jar, leaving me with one undamaged jar w/lid to save for later use, and one totally damaged jar w/damaged lid to use right away. I just stored the damaged container in a huge ziplock to preserve it.
