Review: Gorgeous to behold AND hold - These cards really appealed to me, being as each card has a different image from the 1914-18 war on the face. They're as much a historical record of the conflict in photographs and propaganda posters as a pack of cards. Like most Piatnik cards they're a pleasure to use, feeling thicker than bog standard cards, but not cumbersomely so. My only gripe is that there are no images from the smaller nations involved in WW1, but I do appreciate that source material from the smaller Allied/Axis nations can be a nightmare to find.
