Turns out I was right to be skeptical, because it does not work well for 5" monitors. For reference, this was on a SmallHD Focus SDI 5" monitor. Not near as good build quality as a Hoodman, but it'd suffice. Would probably be alright for a 4" monitor, but definitely not 5". ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ WAY too EXPENSIVE But Does the Job! Perfect for the Black Magic Assist 4K *by on Reviewed in the United States July 14, 2018* I purchased this product to go with my Black Magic Assists 4K, as the BMA 4K does not come with a sun shade and has no way to attach a standard sun shade to it. This product works perfectly for the BMA 4K, permitting you to still access all of the in and out ports on the unit.There's really only one reason I can't possibly give this product 5 stars! The PRICE!
