A: Hi, The Escali Gourmet Digital Thermometers cannot be recalibrated, but they should not need to be as they are pre-calibrated from our factory. **Q: Is this dishwasher safe?**
A: The DH1 thermometer is not dishwasher safe. If you are looking for one that is, I'd suggest the Escali DHP3 waterproof thermometer.

**Q: Can this thermometer be placed inside the oven during an entire cook if the oven is at 325?**
A: No, this thermometer should not stay in the oven while cooking

**Q: Is this for deep oil as well?**
A: Thank you for your question. The DH1-B Gourmet Thermometer is not designed to be fully submerged into oil, however, the stainless steel probe can be used to gather temperature readings up to 392˚F in deep fry oil.
