The process can be applied across all genre's. I am a student at Ivana Chubbuck's studio in LA, and I have to say that even though I benefit from her actual physical presence and face to face teaching, I couldn't imagine not having the book. It's kind of like our bible (pardon my blasphemy). I have gifted this book to my actor friends who live outside LA, and it has been received well. So, what is this book without my close personal bias? In short, it's a step by step practical way that shows you how to get the most out of your scene study. Step one leads you into step two, and so on and so forth. And then as a bonus, there are also chapters that give you step by step ways to effectively act out certain circumstances like dying, being drunk, or being high, etc. Step by Step people! This book is practical! It's not full of theoretical ethereal bull poo poo.
