Compatible with gas and wood-burning fireplaces. Works as a standalone switch or in combination with a fan speed control for full blower management. - PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL — Turns your blower fan ON at 115°F so warm air circulates only when the firebox is ready, and OFF at 90°F so the fan runs until residual heat is cleared. No manual switching, no blowing cold air into the room — just clean, efficient heat circulation every time you fire up. - EASY DIY INSTALLATION — Installs inline with your blower's black power wire using two spade terminals — no special tools or wiring expertise needed. Mounts with the included bracket (center hole to center hole: 1-1/2", overall length: 2" end to end). Refer to your appliance manual for model-specific wiring guidance. - KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY — The center disc measures 1/2" in diameter — this is a precision component, intentionally compact for installation in tight firebox spaces. If you're replacing an existing thermal switch, match your current switch's temperature ratings and bracket dimensions before ordering to ensure proper fit. - MIDWEST HEARTH QUALITY — Backed by over 20 years of hearth industry expertise. Designed for homeowners and heating professionals who need a reliable, professional-grade replacement part that installs correctly the first time. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B078XNRCMD | | Actuator Type | Automatic | | Best Sellers Rank | #436,787 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #60 in Fireplace Fans #160 in Household Fan Parts & Accessories | | Brand Name | Midwest Hearth | | Circuit Type | 1-way | | Color | Silver | | Connectivity Protocol | X-10 | | Connector Type | Spade | | Contact Material | Stainless Steel | | Contact Type | Normally Open | | Control Method | Touch | | Control Type | automatic | | Controller Type | Push Button | | Current Rating | 15 A | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (631) | | International Protection Rating | IP00 | | Item Dimensions | 2 x 0.75 x 0.75 inches | | Lower Temperature Rating | 90 °F | | Manufacturer | Midwest Hearth | | Material Type | Steel | | Mounting Type | Surface Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Positions | 2 | | Operating Voltage | 120 volts | | Operation Mode | automatic | | Part Number | 43531-51188 | | Specification Met | UL | | Switch Type | Temperature Switch | | Terminal | Screw | | UPC | 645360706850 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 115 °F | | Warranty Description | 1-Year from date of purchase | | Wattage | 1800 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Midwest Hearth - **Connector Type:** Spade - **Contact Type:** Normally Open - **Current Rating:** 15 A - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 2 x 0.75 x 0.75 inches - **Material:** Steel - **Operating Voltage:** 120 volts - **Operation Mode:** automatic - **Switch Type:** Temperature Switch - **Terminal:** Screw ## Images ![Midwest Hearth Thermal Fan Switch for Fireplace Blower, 115F On, 90F Off - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gqORzgJ0L.jpg) ![Midwest Hearth Thermal Fan Switch for Fireplace Blower, 115F On, 90F Off - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/417qp9uoucL.jpg) ![Midwest Hearth Thermal Fan Switch for Fireplace Blower, 115F On, 90F Off - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/411z4hpNGhL.jpg) ![Midwest Hearth Thermal Fan Switch for Fireplace Blower, 115F On, 90F Off - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51WkWJisMvL.jpg) ![Midwest Hearth Thermal Fan Switch for Fireplace Blower, 115F On, 90F Off - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51w+Vv5XbyL.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/81930909-midwest-hearth-thermal-fan-switch-for-fireplace-blower-115f-on](https://www.desertcart.us/products/81930909-midwest-hearth-thermal-fan-switch-for-fireplace-blower-115f-on) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
