The Hush Puppies Worry-Free Suede is brush-and-go, designed to be scuff, stain and water resistant. Review: Just as good as ever - I bought these for casual wear and they came in excellent condition - and they are excellent in every respect. They fit true and are a bit less clumpy than the previous style. I thought the colour was pretty classic Hush Puppy suede although others thought it was too brown. There is a small and inconspicuous bit of branding at the top of the boot (you can see it in the picture) but that would probably be covered by the bottom of any trousers or jeans. The only thing is that they will need a weatherproofing spray being worn outside in autumn. Review: Might wear these in bed I like them so much - I bought a navy blue pair of these a couple of months back and thought they were a bit small (Size 7 UK) and was going to send them back to get the next size up. I'm glad I didn't. I tried them on again and they fitted fine. I have broad feet and usually get a size 8 - or in hiking boots even a 9. My measured size is a 7.5 broad (UK). I bought a pair of "Taupe" coloured Desert II s on Sunday from desertcart (again in size 7) and they were waiting for me when I got home from work on Monday - amazingly speedy delivery! I wore the taupe ones into work today with jeans and they look fab. Desert boots always look better with a bit of age and wear - so looking forward to when they've got that "worn in" look. These boots don't need "breaking in" they feel comfortable and as if you've been wearing them for ages from day one. Tip - go for your size and not the next size up. They're Hush Puppies and feel great on your feet. See if you can get them on a deal on desertcart - I paid £63 when HPs were selling for £79- £85 on their own site. ## Features - Suede chukka boot with three-eyelet lacing and flexible crepe sole - Leather lining and cushioned sock - Hand-stitched stitch down construction - Protective coating resists scuffs, stains, and water ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00VL4N0LU | | Boot Form Type | Chukka | | Brand | Hush Puppies | | Closure Type | Lace-Up | | Closure type | Lace-Up | | Colour | Beige Taupe | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 60 Reviews | | Heel Type | Low-Heel | | Insole Material | Manmade | | Item Weight | 1 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Hush Puppies | | Model Name | Desert II | | Model number | Desert Ii | | Occasion | casual | | Outer Material Type | Suede | | Outer material | Suede | | Pattern | Solid | | Season | Autumn | | Shaft Height | 4 Inches | | Shaft height | 4 Inches | | Shoe Height Map | Ankle-High | | Sole Material | Synthetic | | Sole material | Synthetic | | Style Name | Desert Ii | | Toe Style | Round Toe | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | lining-description | Leather,Lining,Suede | | material-type | Leather | ## Images ![Hush Puppies Desert II, Men's Desert Boots - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/714TnzZJB+L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just as good as ever *by W***R on 29 October 2014* I bought these for casual wear and they came in excellent condition - and they are excellent in every respect.
