These are wonderful for shooting objects where you don't want a "busy" background. You can pick a color to compliment your subject. Also, the instruction book shows various ways to position the panels and lighting to get various effects.. Its fun and really helps.So, for me, just a guy who enjoys learning and building skills this box was a great addition. It has allowed me to expand my work and "up my game" in closeup photography.
