I am a size 12. 5'8" and weigh 160. The XL fit great. Very long, and with my one inch heels, it was a great length. Corol is more of a coral red. Wore my spanx as it is very fitted through the torso area. Does flow like a mermaid on the bottom. Used a light steam after taking it out of the packaged bag. Received a lot of compliments!!! If you want to spend a lot more money you can get much better, but for under $50.00 we don't think you could much better. I ordered this from Amazon after a LONG fruitless day of shopping all over town with my wife for a new dress for a formal occasion we will be attending. My wife said I was crazy and there was no way a dress that cost $39.99 was going to do (crazy husband what did I know). When it arrived, she thought it looked "a bit matronly" and reluctantly tried it on. She was very impressed with it on her and not on the hanger (e.g. try it on before deciding if you like it). The fit is very good (my wife is 5'9" and usually wears a size 16) and the size (16!) was just about perfect. Workmanship/tailoring is good. Quality of the material, especially the lace on the top is mediocre and lets it down some. We're not the centre of attention at the event so no one is going to be looking all that closely at us, so all in all, if you need a nice dress for a formal or semi-formal occasion and don't want to break the bank, consider this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The pictures don't do this dress justice!! Loved it! *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2017* Pictures don't do this dress justice!! I wore this dress to the Washington, D.C. USO Ball and looked fabulous! My photo was taken with Miss America and this gown looked amazing next to hers!! The top half of the dress is a lovely lace with a strapless bust. The lace fabric is very nice quality, not too thin, just the right texture for a peek-a-boo factor. The bottom half is made from a nylon, almost satin material, it gathers at the side giving your waist a slimmer look. The back zips and since the side gathers, it gives a nice slim appearance in the rear. The dress is somewhat long, however, I wore a high pump and simply carried one side with my hand. It's how a gown should be worn! The size chart is accurate; I'm 5"7 and 150 pounds and wore a large. It wasn't too tight and not too big, just perfect.
