A: I had the same model for about 10 or 12 years and no problems with Verbatim DVD-R

**Q: does it record from tv to dvd-r**
A: I recorded Ghost Adventures all the time for my son on my Panasonic DVR ES40V and no problems, I always used Verbatim DVD-R.

I bought a vhs/dvd dubber from amason ...jlrstreasures was the provider of the dubber...very very pleased.  I actually called the supplier and said thankyou....they even put in dvd docs a manual all the hookups,  I had everything I needed.  I had bought a used one and was very happy.

    No Power Cord OR AV CORDS! Wrong remote!

This machine was sent without a power cord or any of the cables, therefore it is useless. Upon arrival the DVD cover does not shut. I’m super disappointed & will now be expected to pay to send it back! Not happy & will not purchase from a 3rd party on AMAZON again. (3rd time burned!)

It’s exactly what I was looking for. I have old Disney VHS Tapes and CD’s and my Granddaughters like to watch them. My old one’s remote was missing and just quit working. I was glad I could still find one.
