Review: Delicious! - Besides being the perfect topping for okonomiyaki, this sauce made a tasty marinade for chicken and a nice dipping sauce for egg rolls. I will make sure to always keep this on hand!
Review: The original from Japan, delicious! - I love that this is the original sauce that I purchased with the original batter from Japan. This sauce should last for a while because you don't use a whole lot. It tastes great, I'm glad I got the original and may try their spicy sweet one another time. In the restaurants they have kewpie Japanese mayonnaise and I didn't want to purchase that separately so I just used my Veganaise mayonnaise the first time and then started eating them without it. If the mayonnaise gets mixed with the sauce it taste just like a McDonald's burger to me lol It's a great healthy way to get cabbage in your diet and a half a cup of the batter mix creates two giant pancakes,, so even though the bag looks small it makes more than you think. I used to go to Japan and they had okonomiyaki restaurants we would go to there. I don't have to worry about asking to not have Bonito flakes on top when they're homemade. Everybody I've made them for goes crazy for them!

**Q: would you use this sauce for stir fry yakisoba noodles?**
A: Don't see why not.  It is kind of a sweet soy sauce.

**Q: Does this need to be refrigerated before opening?**
A: I don’t know why people says no but you do need to keep it in refrigerator after opening!
I confirmed it at Otafuku website.

**Q: Can this be used in Yakisoba?**
A: Yes, you can use it for Yakisoba.  This sauce is thicker and sweeter than yakisoba sauce.  Some people like it that way.

I love that this is the original sauce that I purchased with the original batter from Japan. This sauce should last for a while because you don't use a whole lot. It tastes great, I'm glad I got the original and may try their spicy sweet one another time.
