This does not pull up on the tip, which is the way most striping paint cans work. Make sure this "push on the side" style is what you need, it is hard to tell what you need based on descriptions, hence why I am reviewing to clarify for potential buyers to save you a mistake by buying the wrong style. You will need to also pick up inverted marking paint. If you want it temporary, look for chalk paint or water based paint. If you want it to last a while, look for solvent based paint. I would recommend snapping a chalk line first to make the lines straight, then using the wheel attachment to follow the chalk line.
