Most important to me, it looks quite nice and is a large board and large pieces. I would buy again at this price but this is a perfect case where you are getting what you pay for ... nothing more. Here are a couple of recommendations that would make it an exceptional value for the price:1. The bottom edging (when opened for play) should have a felt lining. As it is now, it is very worrisome about scratching the table.2. The clasps should be "swing clasps" so that when the board is open for play, they could be closed so they do not extend above the board nor do they scratch the table on which it sits. Consider putting the clasps on the side of the board too - this way they are not "in the way" while you are playing.3. Finally, add a few ounces of lead in the bases. They are just slightly underweight.
