The effects start off subtle for the first half hour, then gradually lead to deeper relaxation and sleepiness, even in front of bright computer screens. The taste is just okay, but it’s actually better when concentrated rather than diluted, with a slightly off berry flavor. Not bad, but not exactly delicious. It has a smooth texture and blends easily with water, whether you stir or shake it. I’ve used ashwagandha and enjoy the stress relief it provides, but I’m less familiar with magnesium glycinate. From my experience, it surprisingly helps me fall asleep without quickly building a tolerance like I tend to with melatonin. It lets me wake up without feeling groggy and without any strange, intense dreams—very effective for what it claims to do. Your mileage may vary. The only drawback from giving it 5 stars might be the price per serving if all want is a sleep aid, but if melatonin isn’t working and you want Ashwagandha included, this is a great alternative with multiple benefits.
