These chairs are beautiful. They are sturdy and well made. I bought them for a friend who is a little overweight and had another chair collapse. That will not happen with these chairs. The chairs came packaged very well and like other reviews indicate they are fully assembled which was a big plus. Love the rich color and they really match well with the 100 year old table I just refinished. Have had them about a month, so far so good! They are very sturdy and hold up to bigger people (250 lbs and one bigger person 350-400, and before you judge, yes we are dieting and trying to loose weight). Very happy with this purchase. Will update as we use them more.
