Einer der Dämonen, mutmaßlich erschaffen im Bett des Chaos im Flammenmeer Izaliths, welcher den Anhängern des Feuers überlassen wurde, um die wachsende Menge der Untoten im nördlichen Asylum gefangen zu halten. Der Asyldämon hindert den Spieler am Ende des Tutorials an der Flucht, während der Verirrte Dämon auf den Spieler trifft, falls dieser später ins Asylum zurückkehrt. Im Brettspiel kann er wahlweise als Megaboss oder Miniboss eingesetzt werden, und gerade letzteres erscheint geradezu passend, wenn es darum geht, neuen Spieler, die Dark Souls 1 kennen, das Brettspiel näher zu bringen. Er ist von der Schwierigkeit eher auf der leichteren bis mittleren Seite, und kommt mit Encountern der Schwierigkeit Leicht, Leicht, Leicht, Mittel (3, 1, 0) vergleichsweise milde daher. Sein Gimmick ist, dass er Teile seiner eigenen Arena zerstören kann, was zusätzliche Gefahren für die Helden durch herabfallende Trümmer bedeutet, aber auch neue Felder eröffnet, auf denen man sich positionieren kann. Seine Megaboss Variante unterscheidet sich in erster Linie von den Schadens- und Verteidigungswerten her und ist damit ungleich schwerer zu bekämpfen, das Gimmick mit dem Terrain ist dabei unverändert und macht den Bosskampf damit immer noch spannend und herausfordernd. Der Version als Megaboss geht einer aus vier Level 4 Encountern voraus, von denen zwei mit dem klassischen Basisspiel (das alte Core Set) gespielt werden können. Die anderen beiden setzen zwingend die Iron-Keep Expansion auf der einen Karte, bzw. die Darkroot- UND Explorer's Expansion auf der anderen Karte voraus. Loot gibt es natürlich auch, zwei Schätze bringt jede der beiden Bossvarianten mit sich. Positiv ist hier, dass dieses Set multilingual ist, es gibt also genug Kartenkopien, um die gängigsten europäischen Sprachen zu bedienen. Punktabzüge gibt es von mir zum einen dafür, dass seine Arena Töpfe und Vasen enthält, deren Öffnungen optisch den Charakterfeldern viel zu ähnlich sind, sodass man beim Spielen schon mal rätseln muss, WO genau man die Figuren hinstellen kann. Anfangs störte auch, dass der Zusammenbau (Der Schwanz muss eingesteckt werden, der Rest kommt zusammengebaut an), sich als schwierig erwies. Die Teile waren bei mir nicht passgenau, wodurch ich überraschend viel Material mit dem Skalpel abtragen musste, damit das Teil in die vorgesehene Öffnung passt. Anschließend habe ich noch das Teil in kochendes Wasser gehalten, um das Plastik weicher und biegsamer zu gestalten, und konnte den Schwanz letzten Endes am Modell anbringen. Jetzt sitzt er dort auch bombenfest. TIPP: Sollte bei euch etwas verbogen sein, kochendes Wasser macht das Material weich und Biegsam, danach idealerweise in der korrekten Form in kaltem Wasser abkühlen. Man sollte sich auch bewusst machen, dass die Figur zusammengebaut nicht zurück in die Box passt.
