Do all of these gauges have battery problems. Are all the battery indicators defective?** A: Thanks for a good question! I supposed that the icon of the semi-charged (discharged) battery was just a confusing UI solution and when the battery would be indeed discharged the icon would start blinking or sort of. I was wrong! The battery icon in this gauge is just a fake! I have specially put inside the gauge the 2 pares of discharged batteries. (One pare at a time, of course. ;) ) The first pare had around 1.2V and still could take a slight load as my battery meter shown. (It loads the checking battery, rather than just meters the voltage as usual voltmeter does.) The second pare could not take any load and had about 1.1V shown by the regular voltmeter. The first pare could "feed" the gauge, but despite the batteries low voltage, the battery icon did not show that. When I inserted the second pare, then the gauge simply didn't work. So, here is what I think about that - the gauge does NOT have any indicator of the discharged battery. When the batteries are OK, then the gauge works just fine, but if you turn ON the gauge and it doesn't launch, then, most likely, the batteries are completely discharged. To complete this short research, I want to mention that after more than 3 months of use the currently installed batteries (GP Super Alkaline AAA batteries) have practically the initial voltage. Most likely I will decrease my rating to 4 stars after that... **Q: Where can I get a replacement for the (head nozzle)?** A: Did you try Amazon? I don't know. **Q: I am considering a guy's gift & need to know if this item would read at least 100lbs or pressure.
