I’m confident with their claim of this being a gentle skin balm and a patch test issued no reaction, no problem. Note that this is not a cream, it’s a balm. A balm is thicker with no water and is oil-based. So it’s slightly hard & waxy feeling without being greasy and kind of layers on as it ‘melts’. I use a very small scraper to take it out of the container so it’s a more hygienic removal from the jar. I then transfer it to clean hands and have applied this to my elbows, feet, a dry spot on my arm, and a few times to my nether region. All areas had good results with discomfort melting into comfort and feeling better hydrated. This balm is made in China.
