T.R.U. NST-20 Non-Skid Tape or Anti-Slip TapeT.R.U. NST-20 is a Non-Skid Tape that is waterproof because of its backing. This high traction anti-slip tape is 32 Mil. 60 Grit Silicon Carbide; surface is similar in feel to 60 grit sandpaper therefore it is not appropriate for bare feet. Also, it is coated with an aggressive acrylic adhesive (better adhesive than synthetic Rubber) that cannot be submerge into the water or applied underwater; when applying the surface needs to be dry and free of any debris so the adhesive bond can form properly. If when apply there is any gap that would allow the water to seep underneath of the tape, water will degrade the adhesive very quick. T.R.U. I'm using this tape topsides on my boat exterior.  Initially it adheres strongly and actually locks my shoe as I step on it. No slipping at all.  Very easy to trim with sharp blade. It's fully exposed to the sun and rain and seasonal tree droppings... I'll be completely satisfied if it lasts for two seasons.

If you're looking for highly abrasive grip this should fit the bill. I wouldn't recommend using this on any area where bare skin (hands, feet, etc) is going to be in direct contact w it as you'll likely lose a little skin.

Great adhesive grip tape! I put them on two indoor hardwood staircases because my 11 year old Golden Retriever was having issues going down the stairs. It has given my mother a higher level of safety and comfort as well, which gives me Peace of mind! I  highly recommend this adhesive grip tape.
