Review: Sweet, but not heavy - I served this out of the fridge as a surprise end-of-meal drink to go with an assortment of dark chocolates at a monthly meeting of a wine tasting group. We're more enthusiastic than expert, and we don't spit it out :)))) Poured into chilled shot glasses (I had no liqueur glasses, but shot glasses worked well) it was appreciated by a wide range of palates, from the real expert to those of us with a lot to learn. It is sweet, a little orangey, and not at all sickly or heavy. I reckon it worked fine with dark chocolate, but I can imagine it going well with apple or treacle tart and ice-cream too. There's probably a good cheese for it ... not my area though. Top quality stuff, and excellent value. Review: Really really nice dessert wine - Love this.
