I got a Breville espresso machine for my birthday from my family and we have tried 5 different espresso beans: Allegro Sierra & Bell Canto, Kicking Horse Cliff Hanger, Starbucks Dark Roast and Ethical Bean Sweet Espresso. The Bell Canto just wasn’t as good as the Sierra, too much berry flavor for us. The kicking horse is quite good and comes in big bags which helps with cost. The Ethical Bean was very herbaceous and overpowering. Starbucks sucks, it came with my gift so I used it but it has a distinct burnt flavor. If you have a suggestion for another organic espresso please comment! However, none of them compare to Allegro Sierra! The flavor isn’t overpowering but delicious. It works well for my americano and my husband’s cappuccino.
