It was good advice, because they are quite similar in design. They are still fairly flat and extremely lightweight, and I actually think that I would prefer the rounded texture on the ball of the foot to something with a flat tread. These will feel pretty slender for most people. You have to loosen the laces to get them on, but when they are on they are slug and fit nicely. The toe space might be slightly small for some, so you may need to size up. It's probably by design. For a slender foot, they fit as expected but are marginally lacking in toe space. Order half size bigger. *by L***E on 20 November 2017* I ordered half size bigger, and it fit well. I'm a 9.5, and the 10 was a good fit. Boxing is what I intended to use this for, and I'm on the lookout for a shoe that's lightweight but will help me plant my foot more. I expected this shoe to help me sit down on my punches better, and dig my whole foot better on the ground more since I box a slightly tip-toed naturally, but it didn't. Still on the look out for the shoes that'll solve my tip toed problem, but these are okay shoes. I can see this degrading quickly when used outdoors as I had used to sprint outdoors with em once and the soles did take quite a beating.
