It has about 50 lines (dots) going down the length of the vertical side and about 25 going horizontal. The pages are thick enough for me, but if you will be using alot of markers you may find it is too thin and they bleed through. There is a rubber band type closure band that comes from the back and keeps the journal closed, but this feature is optional and can be removed. The Amazon description showed that the journal came with some colored tabs to use to delineate pages. I did not get this with mine, so if you are counting on that- be aware. I like this item and would buy it again, and probably will when I've filled this journal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for the Price *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2019* I’ve been using the lines notebooks for work for a few months now. The quality of each component is excellent for the price. The paper is easy to write on and is thick enough that I can write on both sides without stuff from one side bleeding through.The covers are excellent. The see-through material provide a great option for using the first page as a cover illustration or easy-access info.I do a lot of note taking and I need to frequently reference past notes. These are the best notebooks I’ve found for under $15, let alone under $8. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by V***H on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2019* they were pretty good!
