However it contains sulfur, and may have a positive impact. I don’t have any direct observations with that particular issue. **Q: How thick is it supposed to be? Mine is pretty runny like oil separated from peanut butter.** A: It’s really thick and yes the oil does separate. Before using, knead and squeeze the tube(lid on) to help mix it. Be sure to wear gloves and try not to get on close. It has a strong sulphur smell. But it’s the greatest stuff for skin issues on animals. I bath him first, then I applied the ointment with Coconut Oil (That’s All I Could Find.) I put it on him everyday for two weeks and he was completely healed.
