For the price, it is worth every penny. It has a smallish footprint and compacts to a small/medium sized bag, and is very well made. I've had issues before where the camping gear you buy, never fits back into the bag/traveling case you first initially take it out of. This blanket is not one of those cases - The blanket easily folds up, and there is an elastic band to help keep it all tied up into a small rollup to fit into the bag. Very convenient! As far as I took this camping over the weekend, with the night time temperatures dropping to the low 50s/High 40s. Using this to keep warm in a camping chair is the business, and the waterproof outer layer is an added bonus. I only used this as my blanket while as I was sleeping, and it provided enough warmth to last me the whole night without me waking up from the cold shivers.
