Review: Char Griller Update - The burner shields and the support clips on my 4 year old Char Griller 3072 had rusted completely away despite keeping it covered and under a shelter. This refurbishing kit said the clips and the burner shields were stainless steel and they were. I was able to remove all the existing bolt from the clips and thoroughly clean the grill body inside. Took about 20 minutes to remove and clean and about 20 minutes to bolt in new clips and put the burners and ignitors and shields in place. Everything fit perfectly and works great. My 4 year old grill cost me $149 new at Wal Mart. The replacement Model 3001 at Char Griller is $344. I have a new grill for $35. I am a happy griller.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT RESPONSIVE COMPANY

I bought this to replace a cheaper crappy set I installed three years ago. All of the parts in this kit are heavy duty and well made. Everything fit perfectly and was easy to adjust. The wiring for the ignitors does not have insulation on the bare metal spade terminals so my strong ignitor coil was arcing everywhere but at the ignitor ends. I Emailed the company and they quickly sent me a new set to try at no charge. Same thing. I put some heat shrink over the bare metal connectors now everything sparks where it is supposed to. There was no gas hole near the ignitor end and the burners would not light right away. I elected not to blow myself up, so, I removed all the burners and drilled one small hole under the end of the ignitor on each burner. Now everything works perfectly.
