Designed with precise 19.5x19.5x0.75" dimensions for a perfect HVAC fit, these hypoallergenic, antimicrobial filters are made in the USA and recommended for quarterly replacement to maintain optimal indoor air quality and HVAC efficiency. ## Description Nordic Pure MERV 14 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters provide exceptional filtration for both home and commercial environments. Each time air p through a Nordic Pure pleated furnace air filter, lint, dust, pollen, bacteria, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, smoke particles, virus carriers, coughs and sneezes, smog, allergens and other contaminants are removed. MERV 14 furnace filters are comparable to HVAC filters with the rating of MPR 2800 or FPR 10+. While different companies use different scales to measure the air filter’s efficiency, Nordic Pure chose to follow the industry standard, MERV, as developed by ASHRAE (the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioner Engineers). No matter the name of the rating, the efficiency of all air filters is rated according to the same criteria as set forth by ASHRAE. It is important to note that because of this high filtration and air flow restriction, HVAC systems should be rated to handle filters of MERV 14 and above. Nordic Pure MERV 14 air filters work great in newer, high efficiency systems that use HEPA filters. Nordic Pure furnace air conditioner filters are manufactured using a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame. As with all Nordic Pure furnace air conditioner filters, the material is electrostatically charged to attract unwanted particles. The media used will not promote the growth of bacteria or mold on the air filter and is better at trapping airborne particles than fiberglass filters. Our attention to the smallest of details results in a healthier living space. For fresh, clean air in your home and office, it is important to regularly change your AC filter, especially during home improvements. We recommend changing your HVAC furnace filter every 1-3 months, depending on your unique home or office environment. People with pets or those who suffer from allergies should change their A/C air filters more often. Replacing your air filter regularly not only improves indoor air quality, it helps your HVAC unit perform more efficiently. Important Note: Almost all air condition filters have a different Actual Size (the exact dimensions) than Nominal Size (the name) printed on the air conditioning filter. It is best to measure the exact size of your A/C filter and compare it to our Actual Size to be sure your HVAC replacement filter fits! Review: they fit well as showed in the description Review: The effect of the charcoal filtration over a regular non-charcoal filter is minor - yes, I still have cooking smells in my home, for instance. But even though the effect is minor, with my super sensitive sniffer I appreciate even the minor assistance that the charcoal provides and I'm now spoiled and don't want any other filter. ## Features - Nominal Size: 20 x 20 x 1, Actual Size: 19 1/2 x 19 1/2 x 3/4 (19.5 x 19.5 x 0.75) - Attracts indoor allergens, dust, pollen and other airborne contaminants. - Hypoallergenic and antimicrobial pleated electrostatic filter material - Nordic Pure recommends changing 1” air filters every 30-90 days - Made in the USA ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007KPY8DI | | Best Sellers Rank | #189,095 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #107 in Furnace Filters | | Brand Name | Nordic Pure | | Compatible Devices | Furnace | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (3,423) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00848224035718 | | Included Components | Air Filters | | Item Type Name | Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters | | MERV Rating | 14 | | Manufacturer | Nordic Pure | | Material Type | Electrostatically Charged Synthetic Pleated Media | | Model Number | 20x20x1 | | Number of Items | 12 | | Product Grade | new | | UPC | 848224035718 | | Unit Count | 12 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Nordic Pure - **Compatible devices:** Furnace - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00848224035718 - **MERV rating:** 14 - **Material:** Electrostatically Charged Synthetic Pleated Media ## Images ![Nordic Pure 20x20x1 MERV 14 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters 12 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8173eu9yvDL.jpg) ![Nordic Pure 20x20x1 MERV 14 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters 12 Pack - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71soagrxLFL.jpg) ![Nordic Pure 20x20x1 MERV 14 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters 12 Pack - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71AbVnwUE+L.jpg) ![Nordic Pure 20x20x1 MERV 14 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters 12 Pack - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XsVfx30BL.jpg) ![Nordic Pure 20x20x1 MERV 14 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filters 12 Pack - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81iOrgJoWwL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by P***L on 23 June 2018* they fit well as showed in the description ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by H***X on 21 November 2017* The effect of the charcoal filtration over a regular non-charcoal filter is minor - yes, I still have cooking smells in my home, for instance.
