After the first round of taste tests, only the 2x concentration Still Spirits gin remained, but still at last place by a large margin. The commercial gins where vastly more aromatic, much heartier spice profile, and heavier mouthfeel. Granted, my commercial gin candidates were more "top-shelf" than, for example, Beefeater, but the Still Spirits fell so far behind it really didn't matter. I ended up mixing 50/50 of the remaining Still Spirits with some Botanist 22 to make it more drinkable. The Still Spirits Gin concentrate might be useful during the apocalypse. Once the world's gin supply runs out, they guy who can make his own will persevere.
